No code? Your money comes back.

A virtual phone number is a real, dialable number that is not tied to a SIM card. It lives on a carrier’s equipment and is handed to software, so the verification code a service sends to it arrives as data on your screen. You use it for one sign-up, and then it goes back.

How a virtual number carries your code

  1. You choose the service and the country the number should come from.
  2. A number from a carrier range in that country is assigned to you.
  3. You give the number to the service, and the service sends its SMS.
  4. The carrier hands the text to us instead of to a phone, and it appears on your screen.
  5. After the code, the number goes back into circulation.

Virtual number or the SIM in your phone

A SIM number belongs to one subscriber for years, usually with identity documents behind it. A virtual number belongs to whoever holds it right now.

To the service both look alike: a country code and a number. What differs is the range the number sits in, and ranges are what services check.

Virtual, VoIP and eSIM are three different things

VoIP describes how calls are carried. An eSIM is a downloaded SIM profile, tied to a device, that gives you a line of your own. A virtual number for verification gives you one number for one code, and no device is involved.

What the service can see

The number, and from it the country and the range. Not your device, not your name, not where you are.

Where it stops working

Banks, wallets and payment services: excluded by our terms, in every country. Accounts you must keep for years. And services that have decided to refuse a range, where another country usually settles it.

Common questions

Is a virtual number a real phone number?

Yes. It has a country code and it is dialable, and the service sending the SMS cannot tell the difference when it sends. What differs is who holds it and for how long.

Can I get a virtual number for Telegram?

Yes. Pick Telegram and a country, then enter the number in Telegram. If you are signed in to Telegram on another device, Telegram may show the code there instead of sending an SMS.

Can I get a virtual number for WhatsApp?

Yes, but WhatsApp checks numbers closely and refuses some ranges before any SMS is sent. If that happens, cancel and choose another country. WhatsApp can also ask for the same number again later, by which time it belongs to someone else.

Can a service tell that a number is virtual?

Often. Carrier lookups report the line type, and many services keep lists of ranges they refuse. That is why changing the country works better than trying again in the same one.

Can I make calls from it?

No. Our numbers receive one verification message. Calls need a virtual line, which is a different product.

No code, no charge

You do not pay for a number that brought no code. If nothing arrives, cancel the order in the app; the payment is refunded as soon as the cancellation is confirmed. While it is being checked, the amount stays reserved rather than spent.

Cancelling is possible after a short wait at the start of an order — a number needs a moment before it can be reached at all, and a cancellation in the first seconds would be refused anyway.

If a number has already received one code and you need a second one, you can ask for another SMS on the same number. That is a separate, chargeable attempt and it is not refunded even if no second code arrives; the app shows what it costs before you confirm. There is no subscription: you pay per number, never per minute and never per month.

What this is not for

Do not use these numbers for banks, payment services, wallets or crypto exchanges. Those are excluded — and an account resting on a number that is not permanently yours is an account you can lose. The same goes for anything you need access to for years: government portals, tax accounts, insurance. A temporary number is for a one-off confirmation, not a lasting key to something important.
