No code? Your money comes back.

Snapchat wants a phone number, and it does not take no for an answer. No code, no charge: nothing is billed for a number that stays silent. So borrow one — choose a market in SMS For U, give the number to Snapchat, and the Snapchat code arrives in your account by itself, seconds after Snapchat sends it. 1,400 services sit in the same catalogue, with numbers from markets across Europe, the Americas, Asia and Africa.

How you get your code

  1. Search Snapchat inside SMS For U.
  2. Choose the market you want the Snapchat number to come from, out of whatever the app currently offers.
  3. One confirmation later the number belongs to you.
  4. Put it into Snapchat at the sign-up screen, or Settings → Mobile Number and request your code.
  5. Snapchat texts it over, SMS For U catches it for you, and you copy it across.

Why a phone number is asked for

Snapchat is built around a phone number: it is the account name, the key your contacts reach you by and the thing you sign in with. Snapchat asks for it on the sign-up form, before the account exists at all. The number goes in at: the sign-up screen, or Settings → Mobile Number. Snapchat normally asks for the number once and does not come back to it afterwards.

What the code looks like

Snapchat sends a 6-digit code by SMS, and on some accounts as a voice call instead. The message from Snapchat arrives in your account unaided — no refreshing, no forwarding, and no second device involved in reading the Snapchat code. Snapchat expires its codes quickly — type it in while it is fresh. One number can usually serve more than one Snapchat account, although Snapchat may limit that.

What can go wrong

Snapchat accepts numbers from many countries but not from all of them. Which countries work for Snapchat changes over time, because Snapchat adjusts its checks and because the available ranges of numbers change. That is the honest state of it — we can hand you a number, we cannot make Snapchat take it. Read none of this as Snapchat committing to anything. We keep success numbers off the page on purpose: they age faster than the page does.

Countries we serve

The 50 markets below are the ones we buy Snapchat numbers in. They are examples of where we work and nothing more: a market on this list can still be empty for Snapchat by lunchtime, because ranges get used up and refilled all day. So take the list as our reach, and take the country screen in the app as the answer to "can I have a Snapchat number from here right now" — only the app knows that.

Common questions

How do I get a Snapchat verification code without my own SIM card?

Open SMS For U, search for Snapchat and pick a country. You get a real phone number, you enter it at Snapchat (the sign-up screen, or Settings → Mobile Number), and the code Snapchat sends appears in your SMS For U account by itself. No SIM card is involved, and the Snapchat number is not yours to keep.

How fast does the Snapchat code arrive?

The Snapchat code appears in your account within seconds of Snapchat sending it. How long Snapchat itself takes is up to Snapchat and to the country the number comes from, which is why nothing here is worded as a promise.

What happens if no Snapchat code arrives?

You do not pay for a Snapchat number that brought no code. Cancel the order in the app and the payment is refunded as soon as the cancellation is confirmed. That is the whole rule, and it is why a failed Snapchat attempt costs nothing: no code, no charge.

Which countries can I use for Snapchat?

Snapchat numbers come from the 50 markets listed on this page. Which of them can be picked for Snapchat at this moment is on the country screen in the app: that list moves through the day, and a page in a search index cannot keep up with it.

Can I use the same number for Snapchat again later?

A used Snapchat number is not reserved for you indefinitely. Snapchat normally does not come back to it after sign-up, but if you need lasting access to the Snapchat account, use a number of your own.

No code, no charge

You do not pay for a number that brought no code. If nothing arrives, cancel the order in the app; the payment is refunded as soon as the cancellation is confirmed. While it is being checked, the amount stays reserved rather than spent.

Cancelling is possible after a short wait at the start of an order — a number needs a moment before it can be reached at all, and a cancellation in the first seconds would be refused anyway.

If a number has already received one code and you need a second one, you can ask for another SMS on the same number. That is a separate, chargeable attempt and it is not refunded even if no second code arrives; the app shows what it costs before you confirm. There is no subscription: you pay per number, never per minute and never per month.

What this is not for

Do not use these numbers for banks, payment services, wallets or crypto exchanges. Those are excluded — and an account resting on a number that is not permanently yours is an account you can lose. The same goes for anything you need access to for years: government portals, tax accounts, insurance. A temporary number is for a one-off confirmation, not a lasting key to something important.
