No code? Your money comes back.

A +91 number from India for Google. No code, no charge: nothing is billed if Google never texts it. You pick India in SMS For U, enter the number where Google asks for one, and the Google code appears in your account seconds after Google sends it. Whether India can be picked for Google at this moment is shown in the app — that part changes through the day, so this page does not claim it.

How you get your code

  1. Search Google inside SMS For U.
  2. Choose the market you want the Google number to come from, out of whatever the app currently offers.
  3. One confirmation later the number belongs to you.
  4. Put it into Google at the sign-up form, or Account → Security → Phone and request your code.
  5. Google texts it over, SMS For U catches it for you, and you copy it across.

Why a phone number is asked for

People look for this exact pair for one of two reasons: Google behaves differently depending on where the number comes from, or the account is meant to read as India. Because Google can ask for the same number again later, the country you choose now is the country the account keeps. If Google turns an Indian number down, that is Google's decision about a whole range of numbers — another country usually helps faster than a second try with the same one.

Common questions

Does Google accept numbers from India?

We do not promise that it does, and no honest page could: Google decides which ranges of numbers it accepts, and it changes them. If it refuses one, cancel and take another country — you pay nothing for a number that brought no code.

How do I get a Google code on an Indian number?

Open SMS For U, search for Google, pick India and confirm. Enter the +91 number at Google (the sign-up form, or Account → Security → Phone) and ask for the code; it appears in your SMS For U account by itself.

What if the Indian number does not work for Google?

Cancel the order and take a different country. The refusal applies to a range of numbers rather than to the one number, so a second try from India usually ends the same way.

No code, no charge

You do not pay for a number that brought no code. If nothing arrives, cancel the order in the app; the payment is refunded as soon as the cancellation is confirmed. While it is being checked, the amount stays reserved rather than spent.

Cancelling is possible after a short wait at the start of an order — a number needs a moment before it can be reached at all, and a cancellation in the first seconds would be refused anyway.

If a number has already received one code and you need a second one, you can ask for another SMS on the same number. That is a separate, chargeable attempt and it is not refunded even if no second code arrives; the app shows what it costs before you confirm. There is no subscription: you pay per number, never per minute and never per month.

What this is not for

Do not use these numbers for banks, payment services, wallets or crypto exchanges. Those are excluded — and an account resting on a number that is not permanently yours is an account you can lose. The same goes for anything you need access to for years: government portals, tax accounts, insurance. A temporary number is for a one-off confirmation, not a lasting key to something important.
